Description My work is ethereal. I do not begin with any set ideas most of the time I just get a feeling that I should paint and I begin. This painting had a concept that ultimately expressed itself. This painting changed over 6 years while the subject (my relationship with my wife, The connection we had) manifested itself as an embrace with the matter and energy of our beings merging during the embrace. I began this painting in 1997 as a Christmas present for my wife and it ended up an aniversary present for her in 2002.
