Description Rocky Mountain National Park is one of my favorite spots to view the majesty of nature. The distant mountains in this photograph form part of the Continental Divide. Mountains from left to right are: Taylor Peak (13,158) Otis Peak (12,486) Hallett Peak (12,713) Flattop Mountain (12,324)Sprague Lake provides a perfect spot to view the majesty of thes mountains against a cobalt blue sky. This was shot in early morning. It is treated with the Orton Effect for a more painterly look.
Linda Hartong, Leawood Member Since December 2007 Artist Statement For seven years, I designed gardens using my camera to show my clients what their gardens would look like. During this process, I fell in love with the camera as a way to show my interpretation of the natural world. Now , retired from design, I can not put the camera down. It records my most precious moments and beauty that continually amazes me. It has become the way I share my world view.
