Artist Statement Leon H. Garlin grew up in South Plainfield, NJ where at an early age started to develop his artistic talents. From elementary school throughout high school he won many awards for his achievements in painting, drawing, and photography. Upon graduation, he moved to Atlanta and attended The Art Institute of Atlanta where he graduated with an associate's degree in Visual Communications. He went on to pursue a career in Graphic Arts. Leon now works as an Artist Advanced at YP formally AT&T Advertising Solutions.

Even with his professional accomplishments of more than Twenty years in the Graphic Arts, Leon has maintained his passion and enthusiasm for fine arts. Leon Garlin currently offers contemporary original paintings and cut paper designs. He also works on commission and thrives on the collaboration of the client and artist relationship to provide a masterpiece of beautiful passionate artwork that will be cherished for many years to come.
