Artist Statement Hello, and thank you for taking the time to look at some of my work.

I currently live in the the beautiful state of Colorado. My partner and I live just minutes from the Downtown area. We are also just a few short hours form the beautiful Colorado Mountains.

I am currently employed as an MST Family Therapist. I work with families who's son/daughter are at risk of being removed form the home due to involvement in the legal system, as well as having substance use issues. At any one time you will find that I have 6 families on my caseload and travel all over the Denver metro area to meet with these families. I find that Photography is a great way to unwind after a particularly grueling week.

I have always loved photography! Ansel Adams is one of my favorite photographers. I began my photography journey about 8 years ago with a small point shoot camera. When I realized that I had an "eye" for photography I asked for a digital SLR for the holidays. Low and behold there was a Nikon D50 waiting for me on the morning of December 25 2005. Since that time I have steadily added lenses, tripods and other photo equipment. So now i really LOVE photography!

In looking though my photos you will notice i have a thing for flower photography. This seems to be my niche, I love grabbing my camera and heading out to the local botanic gardens, or going for a drive up to the mountains and snapping a few shots of the lovely flora! I also love macro and abstract photography. I am hoping that you enjoy the photographs that you see.
