Description This waterfront image is actually produced with a technique called light painting. The long exposure during the pre-dawn light allowed for the various hues of blues, pinks and smoothness of the water. The rocks were then 'light painted' with a hand held flashlight during the exposure revealing their color and texture. The image was captured on the coast of Lake Michigan in Windpoint Wisconsin.
