Artist Statement John is a photographer of long standing, schooled in the use of film, but has now embraced the digital age.

A discerning Black Country photographer who sees digital imaging as a tool rather than a box of tricks. A photographer whose images are linked by a natural instinct for subject arrangement and attention to detail.


John describes this approach to photography as spontaneous - seeking to recapture for the viewer the same mood and atmosphere which drew him to the subject in the first place.

When not shooting weddings, you will find John taking the more relaxed approach to photography by shooting landscapes and nature subjects.
