Artist Statement Shortly after leaving art school, I basically stopped drawing for nearly two decades. In May, 02010, I dug out my old charcoals and started drawing again. My concentration since then has been on whimsical animals. The images in my “Charcoal” gallery are all from this resurgence in my drawing career, such as it is. I also enjoy nature photography.

I grew up mostly in Maryland. Since 02005, I have lived in New Hampshire with my darling wife and our menagerie of dogs, cat, and bird.
