Artist Statement My name is Elizabeth Laferriere, and I am a Junior at Luther College in Decorah, IA. I am a double major in French and Biology, but I have always loved taking pictures. I got my first disposable camera on a trip to the Black Hills, and I've been hooked ever since. I love taking pictures of flowers and landscape scenes. I also enjoy taking pictures that show the immensity of objects. I am very short, so maybe that has something to do with it, ha.
