Artist Statement Julian Venter was born in Pretoria, South Africa, on the 4th of July 1958. He graduated from the Pretoria Technikon School of Fine Arts on 1984.

His work is widely known in South Africa and from 1980 to 1992; Julian participated in many exhibitions in his country.

Apart from his participation in group exhibitions, Julian has exhibited in six personal one man shows and his works are permanently shown at the Ferdinand Haenggi Foundation, the Market Theatre Gallery in Johannesburg and the Municipal Art Gallery in Pretoria. In Greece he has presented his work at the R Gallery in Nafplion, the Cultural Centre of P. Faliron, the Greek Women Scientist Federation in Athens, at the Exhibition Centre at Gazzi in Athens and at Cinema Paradisos in Koridalos, Pireus.

Julian Venter integrates his life and Art through Yoga and Meditation practices.
