Artist Statement Jeanne Grunert is a writer, creative entrepreneur and marketing consulting. In 2007, she quit her executive career and moved her entire family from New York City to a small farm in rural Virginia called Seven Oaks. Here she follows her passion for gardening, natural health, and living a life of creativity. She works full time as a marketing consultant and writer specializing in small businesses and micro businesses. She is a Virginia Master Gardening intern and the author of the book "Get Your Hands Dirty - a Beginner's Guide to Gardening." She lives with her husband, John, a rescued German shepherd dog named Shadow, and two cats plotting world domination, Pierre and Razzleberry.
