Artist Statement I'm an island girl, previously from Manhattan, now living on Mount Desert Island, Maine.

Watercolor is my first love which I also teach but I paint in almost every medium. Watercolor is such a magical medium! My subject matter varies according to what catches my eye. I'm drawn to color and design. Most people comment on how bright my colors are since it's very easy to make mud with watercolor.
