Artist Statement As a child, I was mystified by the magic of photography. As time passed, I got stuck in the logical mindset that permeates the scientific world, especially the areas of the digital world I specialize. A few years ago, I purchased my first digital camera, and my logical world came unhinged. Images with hidden patterns and symbolic meaning started to be produced. From the dissolving bars of Captive but Free to the musical nature embedded within Swan Song, this is becoming a journey very much like the popular movie series 'The Matrix'. The hidden elements I describe within these pictures are not intentional on my part, I believe they are inserted from beyond known space and time.
