Sierra Taft, Ocala, Florida Member Since December 2007 Artist Statement I am a young photographer with lots od ideas. I am constantly inspired by those things others might view as "dull" or "boring". I try to find beauty in everything and everyone and when I take a picture it is my way of capturing that beauty and putting it on paper so that others can see what I see. I do a lot of studio work at my home and tend to lean toward the edgy, goth, industrial genre but also classic glamour as well. I live in horse country and I also take countless pictures of horses for nearby farms. I aspire to do what Dorothy Lange did for the sharecroppers during the dust bowl, for starving children in 3rd world countries. I want to use my pictures to educate people about poverty so that they might donate to help the millions in need of aid in the world.
