About the artist

Kaye Hinson, Louisville, Kentucky

Artist Statement Kaye Cole Hinson grew up in the Kentucky countryside in the heart of the Appalachian Mountains. Her past professions have been Art Teacher, Graphic Designer, Advertising Illustrator and Photographer. She received a BA degree in Art from the University of Kentucky.

She is known for her expressive use of color and an impressionist style of painting. She paints full time in Watercolour, Acrylic, and mixed media. Kaye loves painting Naples, Florida scenes of beaches, flowers, and the old style Florida homes. Currently residing in Louisville KY she is enjoying painting the beautiful landscapes of the Bluegrass.
