Artist Statement I had cameras since age 13. I remember the first camera, it was a small one, manual of course, in a nice brown shiny leather case. The smell alone, of the camera and the case made me addicted to photography.
Until 1995 I had hobbyist cameras, when in I decided to get a top Nikon, F90X. It was a result of me moving from Tel Aviv to Toronto and discovering a treasure of photo magazines which weren't still available in Israel. The most impressive were the UK magazines. These magazines taught me a lot and made me to get this top of the line camera, without suspecting a new digital and internet revolution coming in.
I like to shoot everything that catches my eyes...nature, windows, porches, buildings, people, trees...
Colors on a sunny summer day make me feel excited, and that alone inspires me to capture the beauty of THE LIFE.
