Artist Statement For years my visual creativity outlet has been relegated to graphic design and art direction. Being successful doing this requires attention to objectivity and strategic planning. I believe subjectivity has limited use in the world of design, marketing and advertising.



Photography is, for me, the complete opposite. It is free from the constraints of formula and research, and flourishes with improvisation. This is how photography is meaningful to me.



In this method, what results are photos that I find personally interesting and enjoyable. On occasion, others may find a connection with one of my photos that is meaningful to them. I find that aspect of "art" rewarding and inspirational.
