Description Hmm, got the much needed inspiration to do something culturally oriented! The point of this piece was to portray, in part, the relaxed mood, and sense of peace and calm, during a sunset in this beautiful region of the world.

Artist Statement My name is Julius Camenzind. I am a self-taught aspiring artist who's work is done in the digital medium. I love to view and studying the works of great artists both from the past and present, and note their style and technique. Like many, i have been practicing my craft since childhood, drawing and sketching things with meaning in them. As i become more involved in the digital medium, my focus has shifted to colours and painting, and expressing concepts through this medium. I love images that cast a profound meaning, or tell a story.

Through my artwork i try to convey feelings and concepts that are invoked inside of me from the world, and they are at many times, portrayed in a blend of abstract and surrealistic style.
