Artist Statement Jan L. Jackson resides in California, and is a member of the Altadena and Pasadena Art Council. Formal art training was at the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising. My perferred medium is Oil for portraits and likes to play with mix mediums on abstracts.

Whether my project is a design or portraiture, capturing an expression, moment or movement on canvas in any medium is forever a labor of love....
