Artist Statement I'm a 20+ year veteran of the IT industry who takes pictures for (my) pleasure and as a substitute for my abysmal memory. :)

I tend not to spend a lot of time post-processing my shots - If a picture doesn't appeal to me as the camera took it I'll likely discard the photo, so apart from a few obvious exceptions what you see here is pretty much what I took.

I take pictures to please me, and to capture the beauty around me (something my mother taught me to appreciate - may she rest in peace) - I'm not a professional photographer (although I'm looking to use my hobby as a means to fund itself), I'm not "arty" (although I am starting to experiment), and if others like my efforts too then I'm happy to have given people a little pleasure from my hobby.

Recently, some of my works have been featured by the East Bay Regional Park District; see,, and
I've also had some of my photos featured in the Schmap San Francisco Guide; see and
...and I have some of my work featured on; see
