Artist Statement My love for wildlife and nature inspired me to become a wildlife photographer which then led me to paint many of my photographs. Studying with a variety of Atlanta art teachers has exposed me to many different styles of oil painting. Realism finally came to be my preferred style of painting but I also love to paint impressionalism canvases as well. I have developed a varied intrest in painting subjects which include floral,(especially roses), landscape, seascapes, animals,(including wildlife) birds, you name it, I paint it. as well as portraits. I am a member of several art guilds in which I have paintings on display . I am also a member of the Turner Art Gallery in Valdosta, Georgia where artist from all areas of the USA display and sell art. I also do paintings from photographs sent to me by others.
I have a gallery and studio of my own where I teach oil painting to others.
