Artist Statement Rustin Petrae is an art director, graphic designer, and self-published author. He was born in San Antonio TX but grew up on Air Force bases in Japan and Korea. He currently lives and works in Ohio while attending Ohio State University in pursuit of his bachelor's degree.

He has written two series, the Histories of Purga Novels (Dragon, Roc, and Basilisk) and the Bane Pack Novels (Blood Ties: The First and Blood Ties: The Second). He also wrote a collection of short stories under the title, Forfeit.

Gamut Media presents World Magazine. In addition to writing and artistic ventures, Rustin is also the founder of Worlds Magazine, a digital magazine with the goal of helping other indie creators get their work out and in front of audiences all over the world.
