Description The Old Train Car is a wall art print I created using a pencil sketching technique to create this look. This technique uses strong, but narrow diagonal lines. The setting is an old train car located along a path in Rockford, Michigan. The train looks like it might have been used as a diner at some point, but now sits abandoned. When you are considering an art print, the interior design of the room comes into play and the look you are going for with any given print comes into the decision process. This particular style of wall art print works well in almost any decor. However, an influencing factor is the framing and matting style, which can dictate what dcor the final piece will look good in versus just the style of the art print by itself.Follow my work:TheWallGallery: https://thewallgallery.comBlog: http://thewallgalleryblog.wordpress.com/Twitter: https://twitter.com/KirtWallGalleryFacebook:https://www.facebook.com/TheWallGallery.KirtTisdaleCopyright 2015 Kirt Tisdale/TheWallGallery.com
Kirt Tisdale, Sherman Oaks Member Since February 2013 Artist Statement I have been creating art since I can remember. I have been blessed with having my work featured in various venues. What drives me is the beauty in the world with which we live. I remember as a kid looking up at the clouds and watching them change shape...if they could only stay in one shape long enough for me to enjoy and appreciate them....but that's not how it works. What I can do though is take a moment and freeze it. The beauty around us needs to be savored, contemplated and appreciated. Good art invokes an emotional response either through the scene depicted or the colors used. I hope my work invokes the same in you.
