Artist Statement I'm Ivan Kolisnyk. I was born in 1961 in Ukraine's Poltavs'ka region. I graduated from Kyiv Polytechnic University in 1984. Since then I have lived and worked in Cherkasy, Ukraine. Some critics consider the style of my work as impressionism or postimpressionism, however I consider my style as an realistic and I think this style is as inexhaustible as nature... I don´t deny my creative works have used van Gogh, Dega, Sesann and Matiss' influence...
