Description this was the most perfect rose that i had ever seen it was actually on someones front lawn and while i was taking this picture the person who planted it came out, and told me 'that there was supposed to be a whole lot more, that this was the only rose that rose, but I'll take one amazing rose over twenty mediocre roses any day' Taken somewhere in Floral Park, New York.
Patrick Byrnes, New York Member Since August 2007 Artist Statement I was born in Elmhurst NY, and shortly after moved to Queens Village which I stayed until my early adolescent years in which I relocated to Floral Park where i was always amazed by the beauty of everything mainly the floral part more than the actual village of. I was always trying to catch the true essence of life and nature through different mediums from drawing to painting, until I turned 16 when a really good family friend lent me his cannon EOS rebel, for those who don't know, a SLR camera. I learned how to use that camera as fast as possible and studied everything possible on how to have complete control over a SLR to the point I was able to use it in my sleep. Which was when I realized the way for me to truly preserve the essence of something, through the use of photography. I still live in NY, which is the subject of most if not all of my photos, well things in NY at least. All Photos Copyright to Patrick Byrnes
