Description The sunset as viewed from Mt. Whitney, the highest mountain in the contiguous United States. This shelter stands on the summit. This is not a common photo, especially at this quality, as most climbers do not spend the night at the summit. I spend a cold night inside, but it'll be a story to tell my grandkids.
Eileen Ringwald, California Member Since August 2006 Artist Statement I have always been an artist, am a working designer with a varied media background, and have a formal graphic design education. I am also a rockclimber and outdoor sports person. A large part of why I enjoy these activities is because they give me the chance to take the road less traveled or see a view often passed by.
I've chosen to focus on my photography with ImageKind but I also have a few vector illustrations up as well.
