Description 'The Spanish Fountain' is a wall art print done in an impasto oil technique of a Spanish style fountain at the center of a courtyard. This technique focuses on bold brush strokes and bright colors, creating classic and vibrant look. The setting is a courtyard that is open to the public in Cave Creek, Arizona. The courtyard is built in the traditional Spanish style reflecting a tranquil look you would expect on a large adobe ranch estate. Typical for the region in the 1800s, it is currently used for private functions and is located in an area next to a replica of an old western town. You walk into the courtyard and the outside world disappears as the sound of the fountain fills the courtyard with a peaceful tranquility. It is a place to stop, relax and savor the moment. I believe the art print captures that feel. When considering an art print, the interior design of the room comes into play and the look you are going for with any given print comes into the decision process. This particular style of art print works best in a traditional style of room dcor. However, an influencing factor is the framing and matting style, which can dictate what dcor the final piece will look good in versus just the style of the art print.More Artist Information: Additional prints available on Kirt's Gallery - www.TheWallGallery.comFollow my work:Blog: http://thewallgalleryblog.wordpress.com/ Google+: https://plus.google.com/b/113998712261783920634/+Thewallgallery/postsTwitter: https://twitter.com/KirtWallGalleryFacebook: https://www.facebook.com/TheWallGallery.KirtTisdaleCopyright 2014 Kirt Tisdale / TheWallGallery.com
Kirt Tisdale, Sherman Oaks Member Since February 2013 Artist Statement I have been creating art since I can remember. I have been blessed with having my work featured in various venues. What drives me is the beauty in the world with which we live. I remember as a kid looking up at the clouds and watching them change shape...if they could only stay in one shape long enough for me to enjoy and appreciate them....but that's not how it works. What I can do though is take a moment and freeze it. The beauty around us needs to be savored, contemplated and appreciated. Good art invokes an emotional response either through the scene depicted or the colors used. I hope my work invokes the same in you.
