I have always enjoyed drawing but never pursued this interest until about 2004 when I was asked what I would like for Christmas. As requested the family bought me some art equipment thinking it would be a nice hobby for me. Since that moment art has become a passion in my life.

I enrolled as a student with the Cheltenham college in 2005 and thoroughly enjoyed my course with them. I am a member of the SAA (society for all artist) and show my work at local galleries and art fairs. I sell my work online at www.davidbishop-artonline.com

Although my first love is soft pencil sketching I mainly work with Pastel, Acrylic and Watercolour. I draw my inspiration mainly from the beautiful Norfolk Broads, Coastline and Country Side near my home in the Tas Valley.

My favourite contemporary artists are Alywn Crawshaw and Terry Harrison.
