Artist Statement From an early age I was fascinated by painting and drawing,I left school with grade 1 in art.I had various jobs for the first few years,then travelled around Europe for 4 years.On returning to England I worked as a chef and then later I started working for Avon Wildlife Trust,where I helped design and illustrate some of their publications.I then had a change of direction and worked in the building industry,to better support my family.There I remained until the recent economic crisis,being made redundant I decided to devote myself to painting full time.
