Description An original Art Nouveau style design in bright spring colors, inspired by M.P. Verneuil's floral patterns. The plant was popular in Victorian England but is curiously absent from Art Nouveau designs. Also known as Lady in the Bath, Lady's Locket, Lyre Flower, and Venus' Car, graceful pink arcs of Dicentra spectabilis blossoms are a sure sign of spring and a nostalgic memory of our mothers' flower gardens.
I'm a freelance graphic designer slash technical communicator. My closets are full of renfaire garb, no room lacks for piles of books, and I'm the Keeper of The List for our huge and growing family.
When they - my partner's family - urged me to put my LGBT Ally designs onto shirts and things, I opened a CafePress shop. It made sense... they're supportive of us (even naming their firstborn after me) and active in PFLAG, but they couldn't find Ally designs to show it.
Time has passed. My collections of LGBT/Ally and general interest designs have grown tremendously. Looking for new ways to offer my work, I sallied forth and landed here. It looks nice. I think I'll stick around. :D
