Artist Statement I'm Nick, a twenty two year old self taught artist that grew up on both sides of the spectrum. As a child I went from well off, to homeless struggling to eat. Using art as a way to survive I've not only been able to improve my financial situation, but also better myself as an individual.
I express myself and my views on the world through art and as a tattoo artist; creating artistic pieces that others can carry throughout their lifetime on their skin. Once planning to be an architect; my financial situation forced me to drop out of highschool, ending my dream of college and architecture. Despite statistics, these circumstances have given birth to a new dream and inspired me to follow my true passion in life. I am now lucky enough to make my living solely through creation and artistic expression. I plan on using my talent to help the less fortunate and hopefully motivate others who might otherwise be a statistic of their situation.
