Artist Statement I have been painting pictures since I was 15 (am now almost 73) and do that as a hobby off and on. Most of my paintings are done in Acrylic, but do also work with oils and watercolor if the mood strikes me. Since I like to eat I worked in construction most of my life but the love of painting has always stayed with me. I prefer to do nature and paint what makes me feel good and what I would hang on my own walls. I have never taken lessons but that does not mean I am not taught. I am self-taught.
