Artist Statement Growing up, my family vacationed every year in the same two spots on the coast. Even though I love to explore new places and the artist in me loves to take pictures, I never had the chance to really travel until I met my current husband.

Beautiful photos can be taken anywhere, including your own backyard, but there are only so many photos you can take of your daily surroundings without becoming repetitive.

So I venture out to capture the places and things I see as I go about exploring. I might be 10 minutes away or 10 hours away, but every place has some visual magic to share.
