Artist Statement Welcome,

My name is Raymond Doward and my passion in life is my children and grandchildren, Ministry, Gospel music, as I am an organist and pianist, artist and writer. As an artist who has been seriously painting for over 15 years, my works of art have found themselves in the homes of private collectors Nationally and Internationally.

Some of my special moments have been to have the opportunity to work with and make a difference in the lives of special needs children for over 26 years and to have been able to serve my country in the United States Army Reserves for 5 years.

My one special art project was entitled "children make the world go around" where through a grant from my community Arts Councel I was able to do a creative wall mural on a special building with 6-8 children from the community. The look of accomplishment from the childrens faces made it all worth the experience.

Like a paint brush on canvas, the pen on paper also allows me to express myself in many ways.

I have always loved to read and write with English being my favorite subject. I had never given any thought to writing online until about one year ago. My writings have been published on sites such as Squidoo, Hubpages, Hellium, Triond, Madhealth, Religous Journal, Xomba, to name a few.
