Artist Statement My work explores the relationship between the Military-Industrial Complex and life as performance.
With influences as diverse as Derrida and Andy Warhol, new combinations are distilled from both orderly and random dialogues.
Ever since I was a postgraduate I have been fascinated by the ephemeral nature of meaning. What starts out as undefined soon becomes corrupted into a hegemony of distress, leaving only a sense of decadence and the unlikelihood of a new reality.
As wavering derivatives become undefined through diligent and academic practice, the viewer is left with a statement of the inaccuracies of our world.
