Description To Touch The WorldWhisper whisper tell the taleFor those who see by means of BrailleFlowers in their finest formAre soft and smooth and gently warmApples with their familiar shapeRemind me of a great big grapeIts funny what you think aboutWhen sight you have to do withoutFingers take the place of eyesRevealing texture shape and sizeTactile tension helps you feelTo know your world and make it realAnd so I did lest sight or soundAnd still I found my way aroundIt seems I did so very muchWith but a single sense of touch
Robert Longley, North Granby CT Member Since November 2010 Artist Statement I've done a little of everything starting with 8 years in the military. Most of my experience is in software development which has nothing to do with the work you see here. This collection began as poems only about 20 years ago. The combination with photos is a new direction which I hope to complete sometime in the next few years. I currently live in Connecticut with my family.
