Description About TOWER - March Castle Ruins, v.5, Edit E'.TOWER - March Castle Ruins, v.5, Edit E, a Sci-Fi Photograph from the OFF WORLD - ALIEN LANDSCAPES Photography Series by Nawfal Johnson Nur.This is Image #18 of Nawfal Johnson Nur's OFF WORLD - ALIEN LANDSCAPES Photography Series. The objects in this landscape do not necessarily indicate that this is an alien world. However, this is not Earth as we know it from our History. Being that civilizations from different worlds could have similar pasts, this is one of those places. It may be Earth but in a different dimension of space and time - this is not known. This lone castle tower is all that remains of an architectural treasure from a civilization that has long since passed. The weather has eroded the surface of the tower, but its structure appears sound...strong.It is a historical reminder of a proud, yet war-like species that must have needed such built-protections during their time, to keep safe from enemies. All that is left of this centuries-worn structure is the lone and quiet tower, standing proud for eons and casting an restful reflection in the relative calm of the moat that still surrounds the land where the castle once stood. This artwork is a mixed creation of photography, miniature objects, and digital manipulation. This work was began in 2007, and Edit E was completed on 25 September 2012. This composition was named because it was created beginning in March of 2007 - thus, ...'March Castle...'
