Artist Statement I have a BA degree from the University of Miami, where I studied photography and graphic design. I taught graphic design at the Fort Lauderdale Art Institute, and later became a free-lance digital illustrator. Major companies including F.X. Schmid; Rose Art; Ravensburger; Warren Industries; and Newlin Mills Publishing have licensed my artwork for puzzles, posters, toys, calendars and bathroom accessories.
For the last 12 years I've worked as a free-lance photographer. My work has been featured in "Blue Ridge Country," and "Our State," magazines. I have licensing agreements with iCanvasART; Great Big Canvas; Red Oak Publishing; Distribuidora Rodin; Imaginex (Canada); and Leanin' Tree, etc. My images have been used for products such as posters, framed prints, wall decor, tapestry throws, and greeting cards.
Some of my favorite places to photograph are the back roads of Tennessee and North Carolina, the Blue Ridge Parkway, and Great Smoky Mountains National Park. I also volunteered as an special events photographer for the Blue Ridge Parkway.
