Description The Thai-Burma Railway was built during WWII using Allied POW and conscripted Asian labor. An estimated 100,000 laborers died on the project. After the war most of the railway was abandoned, but a portion is still active between the towns of Kanchanaburi and Nam Tok. This photograph was taken on the Krasae Viaduct just before dusk, after a rain. NOTE: THIS IMAGE CONTAINS ARTIFACTING WHEN ENLARGED.
