Artist Statement My first camera was a pink plastic 110 film camera made by Kodak, I believe. I think I was about six or seven, I know that my mom was tired of me using all the film in her 35mm for blurry shots of the squirrels, leaves and bugs in our backyard. I never had enough film and the AA batteries never seemed to last more than a week. I was fascinated by the "telephoto" lens it had and the way I could switch back and forth between the "telephoto" and regular lens. That was the beginning of my love of all things macro. Then came my love for all things in nature. I'm on a quest to capture as much of the natural beauty on earth as I can. How can I possibly capture all of that beauty in one simple photograph? I can't seem to, so I will keep trying. Thank you for taking the time to read this and thank you for viewing my work.

Have fun,

Sara
