Artist Statement I was born in Trenton, New Jersey in 1985.Born to a mother, Brenda Matthews, and father, Theron Charles. I began to have an interest in art shortly after elementary school. I bought my first sketchbook and haven't stopped since. Throughout my high school years I had many art teachers. No one as persistent and encouraging as Michael Morris (Mr. Morris to me). He was always there when i had a problem or to teach me a new genre of art. Luckily for me I had him for 4 periods of art my senior year, which made it clear that I was majoring in Art in college.

So when I went to University of Maryland Eastern Shore I actually majored in Art Education.(smile) There I meet Professors Harrington, Hudson Holt and Demanche, My New Art Team!! As well as Dr. Satchell my adviser, they all helped and supported my work.
After college I started a family and continued producing artwork, now I am expanding my views and talents everyday.
