Description Jessica Bartenhagen holds a BA in Environmental Studies from the University of Vermont and a Masters of Landscape Architecture from the Graduate School of Fine Arts at UPenn. Each image in the 'Tree' Series begins as original photography shot by the artist, and is transformed digitally to accentuate the artist's sensitivity to the patterns of land, sea and sky, the grace and order of which are manifest in everyday landscapes. The photograph that became 'Tree Down' was shot in the sweeping rural vistas of Dutch Country, PA.
