Artist Statement Dave began drawing at a young age watching his grandmother paint. His inspiration comes from nature, light, and the nature of light. Since 2010, he has used pen and ink. Before that it was pencil. He says he's going to learn to paint one day.

Dave's style is primarily abstract-modern. Inside his drawings are a myriad of fascinating detail, layers upon layers, that lead you into hidden dimensions. In some of his pieces you may find patterns reminiscent of fossils and microscopic views of plant life. You may also find the Golden Ratio spiraling across some drawings.
