Description Trley Mausoleum, Budafok, Budapest, HungaryJzsef Trley established one of the most successful brands of sparkling wine outside of the Champagne region in the late 19th century. By 1905, production reached 1 million bottles. Trley left instructions for his body to be buried in Budafok in the garden of his mansion. The mausoleum is located on a hilltop above the sparkling wine factory with fascinating views of the Great Plains and the Danube valley. It was designed by Rezs Ray. The mosaics and stained glass windows were probably made by Miksa Rth.The mausoleum is completely abandoned. The stained glass windows disappeared, the mosaics fell down. The chapel and the crypt were vandalized. (It looks like an ideal place for a black mass.)
