Description The verse on this print reads 'Let not loving-kindness and truth forsake thee; bind them about thy neck, write them upon the tablet of thy heart.' It is Proverbs 3:3. If you bind something around your neck, you are deliberately and daily putting it on for others to see and experience. Our world could use more truth and loving-kindness. In the painting, the girl is wearing them as a necklace around her neck. If you are writing it on your the tablets of your heart, you are going to want those traits to come out of your mouth ... because what is in your heart is what is going to come out of your mouth. She has a crimson red heart painted on her chest with the words 'truth' and 'loving-kindness' painted in the center of the heart.
