Artist Statement I grew up near the oceans in San Diego and spent my summers snorkeling and diving. I have been painting marinelife art in acrylics exclusively for over 12 years and sell to collectors. I pay meticulious attention to proper fish anatomy, seascape, and fish behavior. I feel this sets me apart from many other marine artists. I do not paint "fantasy style" art and stay as true to my subject as possible. My passions are marinelife and ocean conservation and I hope to start my own non-profit to benefit the ocean one day. I donate a % of my art proceeds to various ocean orgs. I travel to the S. pacific and Caribbean and take my own photos for reference. I hope to inform and enligthen others to the beauty of the oceans through my art.
