Artist Statement Tammy Peterson, a North Dakota native, started watercolor painting in 1991 and then stopped painting in 1997 when she moved to Arizona. While taking a life coaching class in 2005, she was told in a guided visualization to paint again. Tammy was working on a book at the time and saw the cover of the book she was to paint in a dream. Not fully understanding why she was to paint an angel for a book on weight loss, she went ahead and painted the angel from her dream. Hope, Tammy’s first angel in her series of twelve, is the cover of her book “I Love To Eat and…Hate To Exercise”.
