Artist Statement I take photos, sometimes. I take them of things I think are interesting for any number of reasons. I tend to photograph things rather than people because things don’t become self aware when a camera is near them. Scenery, buildings, trees, rivers, plants, cups & saucers and even animals all have a tendency to act naturally even in the presence of a photographer (although there’s always the exception to the rule)!
