Description My depiction of what a habitable planet orbiting a brown dwarf star might look like. A surface bathed in warm infrared-rich light from a 500 deg.Celsius sun. Such a solar system may grow to be very old, but because of low radiation, evolutionary mutations may also be very slow.
Max Nimos, USA Member Since December 2007 Artist Statement "I've always had a desire to take images from my mind's eye and bring them to reality."
Max V. Nimos started drawing the day he was introduced to a pencil. Later he began dabbling in watercolor and eventually migrated to acrylic on canvas. In his adult life he worked as an engineer and photographer, but is now primarily a digital artist with one foot in the science fiction genre and the other in wherever his imagination takes him. He has been featured in "The best of Renderosity 2003" DVD and won first prize in a 2004 Renderosity 3D holiday art contest. His artwork has also appeared on several book covers and webzines. He presently lives in the United States.
