Artist Statement Born in France in 1977 from French father and Colombian mother, N.S.Velásquez started painting at a very early age.
Her first teacher, G.Grussot, a french artist, initiated the apprentice in oil painting, main medium she will use for the creation of her artworks besides the charcoal , acrylic and mix techniques.
Source of her work is mainly the result of influences and exploration of different cultures and travelling around the world and is displayed in the diversity of composition.
