Artist Statement I pursue art for fun and as a part-time livelihood. I am active in local art societies and participate in local and regional art events where I have won several awards.

After 12 years as a traditional watercolorist, I am taking a step that moves away from the realistic pieces I have created in the past. In an effort to continue with personal artistic growth, my newest work leans more toward mixed media and abstract images, incorporating interesting textures and line. I am interested in a variety of subjects/themes.
